Welcome to Nun Monkton Foundation Primary School

At Nun Monkton, we cherish each individual and aim to provide the very best education for each and every pupil.

We are a small school in a beautiful village in North Yorkshire. We currently have 45 amazing pupils, taught in three classes by our fabulous dedicated staff. We promote kindness, engagement, resilience, independence and high expectations in everything we do, creating confident, motivated and hard working children.

I am extremely proud to lead a team that is committed to children's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all pupils. Staff, supported by governors and the wider community, work hard to deliver a rich curriculum, challenging pupils and preparing them for their future education. We aim to help them aquire the skills and enthusiasm they need to go on to embrace opportunities, take responsibility and experience all there is to offer in later life.
